If you are looking to grow audience on your website, then LinkedIn is a great way to start off. LinkedIn allows you to be discovered for who you are and what you do. It is a platform where finding jobs and getting offers is extremely easy. One more thing you can do with LinkedIn is grow your traffic on your website. By following a few simple steps, you can do just that. These steps are listed below.
A complete profile – One of the first things you should do after making a LinkedIn account is to complete your profile. You can do this by going into your profile and scrolling down a little bit. You will see places where it asks for more information about you. By filling in all the empty fields, your profile should be completed, and you will be notified of this by LinkedIn. But how is this beneficial in getting traffic on your website? Firstly, by having a complete profile, there will be no empty fields and all your information will be there. This will make you show up in more search engines as there is more information in your profile. You will attract more people who relate to your profile interests leading you to building more communications and being discovered by professional companies. Your profile should be legitimate, trust-worthy and genuine.
Activity – A high activity status needs to be there for a successful audience growth. In order to grow your social media / website audience, post more statuses and be active in general. You should post status updates frequently in a week. Being consistent with your posts is key. Post multiple times a week but do not spam your audience. Use analytics to figure out how you many times you should post. You can also take your communications to the next step by posting links to articles on your website. You can also post links to articles on other websites to grow your own communication with those site’s owners as well.
Connect – Build connections with people and you will get more recognition from the community. The more you socialise, your content about your website will reach people that much more. Connecting with other people also makes you more conscious of your content and gives you inspiration about what other people are interested in.
Join groups – Joining groups allows you to share your articles in a community where you get more clicks as all individuals have a common interest. You should look for groups that are related to your website content and business. LinkedIn is a large community where it can be extremely beneficial to share your business content.
Create a group – If you are a business owner, then this is what you should do exactly. Creating a group and adding target audience in it allows you to send them links to your profile directly. You act as a resource of engaging content for these people. It drives more traffic to your website than there is already.
